One Voice, Many Worlds

A ripple in the water is sometimes all that is needed to signal catastrophic change. ONE ripple can make all the difference between existence and evolution.

Words

you know what the fundamental problem is? we're all scared of the facts. truth... i dont know. in theory, all of us appreciate the truth. even in practice, when it benefits us. But when it doesnt, or if our perception doenst allow us to view it in a positive/constructive light, however harsh it may seem...

words. print. we hate seeing ourselves through the eyes of others if that impression doenst match out self-perception. we hate it if every single opinion of us doenst validate the way we see ourselves. we're afraid we really are as bad as we seem sometimes, as hypocritical, as powerless, as afraid. why else would there be such an emphasis on privacy today? we're ashamed or made to be ashamed of ourselves, our thoughts, our actions. Everyone has problems, and everyone knows that. And if its a genuine problem, why be ashamed of it?

Besides being ashamed of ourselves, we're scared to be taken more advantage of than we already perceive ourselves to be. But we have to see that not everyone is a critic, not everyone is out to manipulate us. Facts are facts, whatever spin we may put on them, and they're there to teach us to wake up and look at ourselves fearlessly, the way the facts have been presented. They're there to guide us in change.

Its one thing to protect yourself. Agreed. Everyone must take measures to preserve one's self worth and so on. But no one's self worth can be preserved by putting others down. And if one's self worth is simply based on what others know or do not know about one, then that is a very shaky self-worth indeed.

so who doest the power rest with? the one with the words, with teh print, with the actions, with the beliefs? it doesnt matter if our perception is skewed anyway. we will constantly victimise ourselves and others. we need to love and accept ourselves first before doing so with others. if we dont heal our own wounds first, the skin will continue to fester with the salt others add. Only fresh, firm skin can heal.

Therefore the power lies with us, the power to wound but also to heal, to see beyond what seems obvious only to us, to look at what was intended rather than what we assume, to look forward to creating progress in whatever has been limiting us thus far, and to keep on, keep on, trying. Love can see everything through, but love is very difficult to define, recognise or understand, and even to create sometimes, so faith is sometimes all that is necessary. May life take us to bliss whatever the path may be like.

you seem to have changed from enthusiastic to fatalistic (deduced from your writing of course). Not a good sign

Stay happy and cheerful and enthusiastic as you used to be. Is it so difficult.
How can you let something/someone affect you so much that you completely lose yourself so quickly.

It is difficult. very difficult. and being fatalistic is difficult too. none of the choices are easy to make, but none really give you inner peace..
