One Voice, Many Worlds

A ripple in the water is sometimes all that is needed to signal catastrophic change. ONE ripple can make all the difference between existence and evolution.

I HATE HYPOCRITES 1

This is something I had written on October 6 in relation to some actual events. (All my entries are based on musings related to actual events that have occurred in the news, or in the lives of those around me. There are many anonymous people out there, helpless in the circumstances they are thrown in, their lives completely controlled like puppets by the strings of hearsay and half-baked knowledge. I really do believe humans are chess pieces on the board of the Gods, and Hera throws a tantrum everytime it looks like Zeus is about to checkMATE (hehe terrible pun) and upsets the entire board). Bhai, hell may have no fury like a woman scorned, but we humans are being affected! (sorry, TERRIBLE joke!))

I just cant get over how hypocritical people can be.... and how their lives are really so meaningless and pathetic that they look for excitement vicariously in others. Then, they become so jealous that other people are actually enjoying their lives and doing what they want, that, like the proverbial asian crab, they try to ruin their enjoyment by adulterating the clear water of hedonism with the murkiness of malicious hearsay. I despise such people.

I have never beeen inclined to judge people. perhaps it is to do with my philosophical point of view. I have not, since i learned to think, believed in any absolutes other than truth and honesty, and am worldly enough to realise (which funnily, most of the morons out there are ignorant of), that we as human beings are rarely honest about anything, either about or to ourselves, deep inside, even me. Even the truth in a situation is coloured by perceptions that vary depending on the side one is on. I for one, acknowledge that i always have justifications for my actions, that sometimes, while they may be deemed questionable by a society deeply conditioned by antiquated (some would argue timeless) and more than that, unquestioned norms, i have always conducted myself in such a way as to cause minimal pain to others (i wish i could say the same for myself). so in short, in my experience, there is no absolute.

My contention here is with narrow-mindedness, hypocrisy, ill-will and malice. I simply cannot fathom how someone can present themselves as catholic and well-wishing and determined when actually they are petty, conservative and superficial people? How can people lie outright or pretend to be something they are not? For instance, if A does not liek B, there are many ways to make it obvious, and immediately, rather than pretending to like him and then hissing like a sinuous snake about him behind his back. If A has a problem with B from the beginning, it is beneficial to both parties to nip any interaction in the bud, rather than waiting for germination to occur and then having the seed snapped up by a hawk! And moreover, how can one talk about anyone else? One's experience with another person is simply and quite obviously, subjective! The situation in which individuals meet, the way in which they get to know about each other, how one behaves with the other - it is only fair if both maintain equal levels of honesty, in an ideal world. Unfortunately i am disappointed to learn that this place in many ways falls grossly short of the ideal in any way shape or form.

How can people judge actions without knowing the reason behind those actions? And why cant people gracefully accept differences and move on without mudslinging or displaying dirty linen? they fail to realise that this only reflects ultimately upon their own pettiness, narrowmindedness, LACK OF LIFE, and moral shortcomings. God is watching, guys. Truth will prevail over one-sided facts, and you will burn in hell with your intentions and actions. (Oops, i judged! Damn, I wish i could pronounce some sentences sometimes!)

On a random note, if the road to hell is paved with good intentions, what about bad intentions but good actions?
