Freudian Free Association
This is a weekly meme - yes indeedy I seem to be addicted to them. This may just be a Saturday-Sunday indulgence one 'cos I wont need to think. Thanks to Angel.
Unconscious mutterings basically deals with the concept of subconscious Free Association introduced by Freud, in which certain words immediately bring up certain images or links which are individualised and over time can provide an important key to the bent of one's mind. Like the Freudian Snips in the weekly Mumbai Buzz or whatever - you're juts given a word basically, and you have to write the first word that comes to your mind in relation to that word.
The words for this week, (wow this has been going on for 158 weeks or over 3 years already!) are, with my responses:
